It's in my level 6 RCM. If I recall I probably learned it all in a few weeks because it made sense to be learning it at that time, ie I wasn't a beginner. To be able to play Fur Elise at a RCM exam and get a passing mark from no experience with intense dedicated practice for hours everyday I would say 3 month minimum.
